Severance is wild.

My problem is, I long for a world that no longer exists.

I can’t un-learn what the internet is.

You know that quote about one day we went out to play for the last time and didn’t realize it? There was a time people my age spent their last day without a smart phone and didn’t realize it. We exist in an echo chamber of constant consumption fed to us by people who want to addict us. And it's not going well for us. As a species, we have drastically changed the way we communicate with each other in a very short amount of time. We don’t know how to treat each other or ourselves anymore and it’s fucking weird.

I am done and I am tired. I want better for myself, I want better for my fellow magical people. When you lose touch with being present, your magical connection suffers, and if all you are doing is watching videos of people telling you to go out and touch grass- will you ever actually go and do it? How is your balance with your phone? If you are feeling it difficult to feel present and focus in magically, getting aware about your relationship with scrolling will help. Awareness is crucial to actually making a change, and I think it’s a good time to take stock.
