My name is Lauretta Wong and I am lifelong magical practitioner and the owner of Lady Moon Co., co-host of Third Eye Bind podcast, and overall creative spirit.
The overconsumption of internet culture has nearly destroyed my relationship to my magic. I am overwhelmed with the popualrity of witchcraft, the commodity is has become. This is a place to re-connect with what matters, to move slowly, and to exercise mental focus and the art of being present.
I’m using this space to find balance within the chaos and noise of owning a business that requires social media activity, without losing my ability to be present. This is a publication about witchcraft, but I am not interested in fancy ritual or aesthetic only content. I am interested in the things that internet culture has taken from us that are essential to magical connection; our mental focus, empathy, attention span, and ability to be present.
The Broom Closet is for secrets. It’s for the truth. It’s a quiet place to inspire reconnection. If you want to learn how to be a “witch”, the only lesson is how to foster connection to your source.
This is a creative outlet for me, and a resource for you. I want better for the magical community. We need to foster our connection to ourselves and our skills. I want you to leave the closet feeling powerful, connected, and supported.
I’m also pretty funny so maybe a good cackle.
